Some of the filming modes available in the stock camera app are not present in the mcpro24fps app. Why?
In brief: The stock camera is an application developed by the device manufacturer, providing it with maximum access and capabilities. Third-party applications are restricted to functions permitted by the manufacturer.
More details: Access to these functions depends on the version of the API: Camera API (hal1) and Camera2 API (hal3). Some functions may only be available in one version of the API. This discrepancy often arises with the 60fps mode, available in the Camera API but not in the Camera2 API. Mcpro24fps exclusively supports the Camera2 API. Moreover, the 60fps mode is often confined to automatic exposure mode due to hardware limitations, which cannot be predicted in advance.
Just a reminder that with the free mcpro24fps Demo app, you can independently test all the features you're interested in on your phone, explore the interface, and discover the unique tools of professional video camera.
